Give work in a sentence. See every step.
Write a brief, pick who does it or let Royak choose, and follow the task from its first step to its deliverable. Work that repeats runs on a timetable, even while you’re away.

One piece of work, from brief to deliverable
Write a title and a brief, then choose someone or leave it Picked for you.
- Royak picks from roles, responsibilities and skills
- Start now, or after another task finishes
- Starts at once if the employee is free
Each task keeps a record built from Royak’s own records, not the employee’s account of itself.
- The summary, deliverable and sources it cites
- A timeline of every step
- What every call cost
A routine creates the same task on each of its dates, under the same access, approvals and limits.
- Daily, weekly or monthly, in your time zone
- A monthly estimate before you confirm
- Runs with nobody signed in
Know what was done, and what it cost
Open any task to see what it was asked, what it delivered, each step it took and what waited for you. A task is done only when its deliverable is stored and passes its checks, never because the employee says so.
- Knowledge searches, app reads and web pages, with screenshots
- The questions it asked and the approvals you decided
- The cost of each run, in credits while your plan’s credits pay
- A repeated action is never sent twice
- Request revision with your feedback, up to three times

Work that comes back on its own
Type “every Monday at 9” into a new task, or select New routine, and Royak reads the timetable back with its next three dates. An intake turns each email, webhook call or watched event that comes in into a task for one employee.
- Timetables are read by Royak’s own rules, never guessed
- A run still under way skips the next date instead of doubling up
- Pause, Resume or Run now from the routine
- Past runs open as ordinary tasks on Work

Questions about tasks and routines
Task or goal: which should I use?
A task for one piece of work you can describe in a brief. A goal when you want Chat to plan the steps and who does them, and ask you before anything starts.
Does closing the browser stop a task?
No. Tasks and routines run on Royak’s servers and carry on. Writes still wait for your approval, so you find them in your Inbox when you’re back.
Can I steer a task while it runs?
Yes. Leave a note it reads at its next step, replace the brief with Change direction, or pause it. A note can’t grant tools or skip approvals.
How many routines can I have?
Free includes 3 routines, and intakes count towards them. Paid has no routine limit.
Where do I see what’s coming up?
On the calendar. It shows routines’ coming dates beside your events, deadlines and reminders. A calendar date never starts work by itself; only tasks and routines do.
