Billing

Settings → Billing shows your plan, this month’s credits and your plan’s limits, and on Paid your card and invoices. Only the owner and finance admins see it.

Before you begin
  • You are the owner to change the plan. A finance admin sees Billing but can’t change it.

What Billing shows#

  • Plan: Free or Paid, with its credits and price, such as “2,000 credits a month · $20 a month”, or “$192 a year” on a yearly plan.
  • Credits this month: what’s left and what’s used, such as “360 of 1,000 used”, with a meter.
  • Renews: the 1st of next month, with no carry-over.
  • Plan limits: each limit with your use and what Paid includes. A bar turns to the warning colour from 80%.
  • On Paid, your Payment method and Invoices.
NoteYour plan covers every company you own. When you own more than one, the card says the credits are shared by them.

What your employees spend on AI is on the Usage page, not on Billing.

Paying for Paid#

On Free, Billing reads “Your plan · covers all your companies”. Upgrade to Paid · $20/mo opens the Upgrade sheet: pay monthly or yearly, in US dollars with tax added where it applies, without leaving the page. No card is needed until then. See Free and Paid for the steps.

Dodo Payments, the merchant of record, takes the payment and emails the receipt. Card details go straight to them; Royak never sees them.

Manage your plan#

On Paid, open Billing, or Manage plan in your account menu:

To…Select
Pay yearlySwitch to yearly. The dialog shows today’s charge first: $192 for a year, less the unused part of this month.
Pay monthlySwitch to monthly. It changes at the renewal and charges nothing now; Keep yearly undoes it.
Change card, billing email or VAT numberCard and invoices, which opens Dodo Payments’ page.
Go back to FreeCancel plan. You keep Paid to the end of the period you paid for; Keep Paid undoes it until then.
CarefulSwitching to yearly charges your card at once. The dialog names the amount before you confirm.

Invoices#

Invoices lists each payment with its date, description such as “Paid plan · monthly”, status (Paid, Due, Not paid or Void) and amount. A paid one opens its PDF.

With your own AI key, your provider bills you directly for what your employees use; it never appears here.

When a payment fails#

If a renewal fails, Billing shows A payment failed. You stay on Paid while Dodo Payments retries the card. Update the card from Card and invoices to stay on Paid.

CarefulIf the retries fail, your account moves to Free until a new card reactivates the plan with Update card. Nothing is removed meanwhile.

Questions#

Who is the seller on my receipt?

Dodo Payments, the merchant of record. They take the payment, add tax where it applies and send the receipt.

Can a finance admin change the plan?

No. A finance admin sees Billing; only the owner changes the plan, for their own account.

Is there anything to cancel on Free?

No. Free is a permanent plan with no card on file.

Does Paid cover all my companies?

Yes. One plan covers every company you own, up to 5 on Paid.
