Calendar

The calendar shows your company’s dates and work together: events, deadlines and reminders beside past runs and the routines coming up.

What it shows#

The month view, with the chosen day’s panel beside it.

Switch between Month and Week, and move with ‹, › or Today. The week view draws each timed item on an hour grid, with a red line at the current time. Everything is drawn in the company’s time zone.

ChipShows or hides
DatesEvents, Deadlines and Reminders: the company’s own dates.
WorkDone (runs that started), Scheduled (routines’ coming dates) and Problems (failed runs, and dates that were missed, skipped or blocked).
EveryoneOr one employee: only the items about them.
Only meOnly your private dates.

A routine’s coming date is drawn dashed with a repeat mark. The dates come from the same scheduler that fires them, so what you see is exactly what will run.

Add a date#

  1. 1

    Choose a day

Select it on the grid, or select Add for today. The day’s panel opens.

  2. 2

    Choose Add a date

Pick the Type (Event, Deadline or Reminder) and give it a Title.

  3. 3

    Set when

An event has Start and End, or All day; a deadline or reminder has a Time.

  4. 4

    Add details

Optionally a Note, a Related employee and a Source link. Tick Only me to hide it from employees and the company chat.

  5. 5

    Save

    Select Add to the calendar.

A reminder arrives in your Inbox at its time.

Schedule work from the calendar#

In the day’s panel, choose Add work: a Title, Description, Employee, Time and Repeat (Once, Daily, Weekdays, Weekly or Monthly). Royak reads it back with its next three dates and, once you choose the employee, its monthly estimate. Select Schedule.

Work scheduled Once is a routine that fires a single time; it shows as scheduled work until it runs. A time already passed today is refused.

An open date can be edited, turned into work with Make it a task or Make it a routine, or cancelled with Cancel date. A cancelled date stays in the day’s history.

Who adds dates#

WhoHow it lands
YouStraight on the calendar.
ChatDates you mention in Chat go on straight away, labelled with your message. Chat can’t see or set Only me dates.
An employeeEmployees with Calendar switched on in their access add dates while they work, linked to the task.
An employee who read outside contentThe date is only proposed: “Found in content you did not write, so it waits for your OK.” Select Keep on the calendar or Dismiss. It also waits in your Inbox.
NoteA calendar date never starts work by itself; only tasks and routines do. A deadline is a reminder for people, not a stop for the task.

Questions#

Can employees see all my dates?

They see the company’s dates that aren’t marked Only me. Private dates are hidden from employees and the company chat.

Is this my Google Calendar?

No. It holds your company’s own dates. To let employees use Google Calendar, connect it on Connections; to start work when an event changes, make an intake that watches it.

Where do I see a routine’s next dates?

Turn on Scheduled under Work, or open the routine on Work → Routines and select See in Calendar.
