Create your company
Create an account, then a company: its name, what it does and a time zone. Chat proposes your first team from your answers, or you start from a template or an empty office. It takes about five minutes.
- An email address, or a Google account.
- A sentence about what your business does, and its website if it has one. Both are optional, but they make Chat’s first team much better.

Create your account#
Open royak.app/sign-up. Choose Continue with Google, or enter your name, email and a password of at least 12 characters. You can also sign up with an email link and no password.
Tick I agree to the Terms and Privacy policy and select Create account. Royak emails you a 6-digit code to confirm your address; it expires in one hour.
Create the company#
After sign-in, setting up your first company opens on its own. Later, New company in Companies or the company menu opens the same steps.
- 1
Welcome
Royak’s three promises: nothing goes out without you, spending stops at your limit, and you can pause anything. Select Set up my company.
- 2
Your business
Pick Which describes you best?, enter the Company name, optionally the Website and What does it do, in a sentence or two?, check the Time zone and pick up to three areas under Where do you want help first? Continue creates the company; you are its owner.
- 3
Your files (optional)
Drop exports from Zapier or n8n, or documents describing how you work, and Chat drafts your team from them too. Skip this step if you have none.
- 4
Your company
Chat proposes departments and employees, with a Lead on whoever reviews the others and who reports to whom. This one request uses a few credits. Rename, remove or add anyone with a department’s pencil or Add a department; your edits use no credits. Under the team, check your company brief part by part, and First tasks lists each employee’s first task, ticked: untick any to give it later.
- 5
Rules
How the company runs from day one: the month’s credits are your limit, every write to your apps waits for your approval, and AI runs on Auto.
- 6
Open my office
Your one confirmation: it confirms the brief as shown, creates the team and starts the first tasks you ticked, on your credits, then opens your office. No goal or budget to set. Their results arrive in Chat.
If you skipped what the company does, the Your company step offers Describe it to Chat, Create a department yourself (a department named like Sales suggests its usual roles), or a template that fills the draft at once (with a website given, Chat first drafts your company brief from it, a few credits). If Chat can’t propose a team, select Try again.
What happens next#
Your office opens with Your office is open, and your employees are already at work on their first tasks. Follow in Chat opens the chat First tasks, the first under Chat in the rail: a row for each task says where it stands (Queued, Working, Waiting for you, Delivered or Failed), read from the task itself, and opens it. A failed one offers Try again: a new run from the start, on your credits.
When a task’s deliverable is stored and passes its checks, it is posted in that chat with Open the deliverable, usually within a few minutes; the chat shows as unread until you open it. A first deliverable may end with up to two questions whose answers would improve the next one. Answer any you like with Save as {name}’s note: the answer becomes that employee’s note, which they read in every task (change it in Knowledge › Memory). Nothing waits for an answer, and nothing is sent, posted or paid without your approval.
The Getting started checklist at the foot of the floor walks you through the rest: approve your first action, connect your first app and take the one-minute tour.
Nothing is created before Open my office. After it, change, add or remove anyone in People, or hire another employee. Your time zone is in Settings › General; new routines and the calendar use it.
More than one company#
Each company has its own people, apps, knowledge, spending and history; nothing is shared between them, except that one account’s companies share its plan’s credits. Switch with the company menu at the top of the rail, or open All companies. Free includes one company and Paid up to 5; see Free and Paid.
Questions#
Does creating a company cost anything?
Only Chat’s drafts of your team and company brief use a few credits. Templates, your own edits and creating the employees use none.
Can I change the team after the office opens?
Yes, all of it, in People: hire, edit, move or archive employees and add departments.
What does Chat read when it drafts my team?
Your answers, the files you brought, and your website, read once as outside content.
Can I delete a company I made to try things out?
Yes. The owner selects Delete company… in Settings › General and types the company’s name to confirm. It removes its employees, knowledge and artifacts and can’t be undone; credits already used this month stay used.
