On Paid, invite people to help run a company as a finance admin, approver or viewer. Each role sees and decides only what it needs, and only you, the owner, assign work.

  • You are on Paid: Free has one seat, the owner’s.
  • You are the company’s owner.

Roles#

RoleCan
OwnerEverything, including billing, model keys, members and roles, and assigning work. One per company.
Finance adminDecide limit raises of any amount, edit spending limits, see Usage and Billing.
ApproverDecide approvals and employees’ questions, and limit raises up to the amount the owner sets. Can’t change settings.
ViewerSee the office, work, the Inbox and artifacts. Can’t approve or assign work.

Only the owner assigns work, manages connections, adds AI keys and changes the company’s settings. Approvers and viewers don’t see Usage. Each member’s chats are private to them, and so are their Inbox snoozes and pins.

Invite someone#

    Open Settings → Members

    Select Invite people.

    Enter their email and role

    The role is Viewer unless you choose another. For an approver, set Can approve raises up to; on your plan’s credits no limit raises arise, so it isn’t asked.

    Send the invitation

    Select Send invitation. If the email can’t be sent, Copy link and send it yourself.

The link works once, for that address, for 7 days. Signed out, they sign in or create an account with the invited address; signed in, they select Join {company} and land in its office.

Change or remove a member#

In the members table, the owner changes a role from the Role menu, or removes someone with More actions → Remove from company. Choose Invited under Show to list open invitations, each with Withdraw.

CarefulRemoving someone takes effect at their next request. Their past decisions keep their name in the history. You can invite them again later.

Seats#

Seats count active members and open invitations, the owner included: “3 of 10 seats used on the Paid plan”. Free has one seat, the owner; Paid has 10 a company. Add seats leads to Billing.

Questions#

Can a member assign tasks?

No. Only the owner assigns work. Approvers decide; viewers watch.

Can I have two owners?

No. Each company has exactly one owner.

Do members see my chats?

No. Each member’s chats, snoozes and pins are their own.

What happens to members if I move to Free?

No one is removed. You can’t invite more until seats are free.
