When credits run out

Work that needs AI waits and Royak tells you: on Free until credits renew or you upgrade to Paid, on Paid until you add your own key. Nothing is charged by surprise, and nothing stops halfway without telling you.

What waits#

A task on Auto that can’t be paid for stops before its next call. Its status reads Needs a key, and its timeline Waiting for credits. It holds nothing and is not charged while it waits, and it picks up from the same step later, when its timeline reads Paid for again.

Web browsing and web search wait too: no AI key pays for them, only credits. A step test fails instead of waiting.

What keeps working#

  • Approvals, your Inbox, the office and your history.
  • Knowledge indexing and search, at no cost to you.
  • Creating and editing employees, which never calls a model.
  • On Paid, employees on a model you chose, which run on your own key.

How to continue#

    Wait for the 1st

    Credits renew at 00:00 UTC on the 1st, and waiting work continues by itself.

    Or upgrade to Paid

    On Free, Upgrade to Paid gives 2,000 credits a month and your own keys; see Free and Paid.

    On Paid, add your own key

    In Settings → AI models; see Your own AI key. Waiting work continues on its own once the key is saved. Your provider bills you and your money limits apply.

NoteRoyak never falls back on a key of its own, and never charges you without asking.
TipWatch the credits left on the rail’s plan card or in Settings → Billing. The meter turns to the warning colour from 80% used.

Questions#

Is any work lost?

No. A waiting task keeps its progress and continues from the same step.

Do I need to restart waiting tasks?

No. They continue by themselves when credits renew, when you upgrade, or when your key is saved.

Will my own key pay for web browsing?

No. Browsing and web search are paid only from credits, so they wait for the renewal, or on Free for an upgrade to Paid.

Can I see which tasks are waiting?

Yes. Each has a Credits used up row in your Inbox, and the task’s status reads Needs a key.
