How credits work

Credits pay for Auto’s AI calls and your employees’ web browsing and searches. Free includes 1,000 a month and Paid 2,000. They renew on the 1st and don’t carry over.

Auto picks a model tested for each job, so you don’t have to, and it can change as better models arrive.

How a call is counted#

Every call reserves its most before it starts, so spending can’t pass your limits.

Before each call, Royak reserves the most it can cost in credits. After it, the real cost is settled and the rest returns to your credits. If the credits left can’t cover a call, it isn’t made and the task waits.

Each month#

Credits renew at 00:00 UTC on the 1st of each month. Unused credits don’t roll over. Your plan is your account’s, so all the companies you own share its credits, on Free and on Paid.

While credits pay, they are the spending limit, and every amount you read or type is in credits: Usage, Chat’s cards, and the budgets of goals, plans, table batches, step tests and standing approvals. Each of those budgets still caps its own work.

Seeing what’s left#

  • The rail’s foot: on Free, the plan card, such as “612 left” and “388 of 1,000 · renews Dec 1”; otherwise the spend card, such as “Free · 640 of 1,000 credits left”.
  • Settings → Billing: Credits this month, with what’s used and left, and Renews.
  • Usage: what you spent this month in credits, and each call’s Paid with.

Questions#

Do unused credits carry over?

No. Credits renew on the 1st of each month and don’t roll over.

Do my members’ chats use my credits?

Yes. Members work under the owner’s plan, so their Chat replies on Auto come from the same credits.

Does searching my knowledge cost credits?

No. Indexing and searching your knowledge run on Royak at no cost to you.

What happens when they run out?
